They are primarily related to the file format and cab block, and they seem to be bugs/omissions in the software. I'm having several problems loading presets from Amplitube 3. The Amplitube 4 FAQ says that Amplitube 3 presets will work in Amplitube 4. Unfortunately this isn't the only major launch day glitch in Amplitube 4. This is good news, and thanks for your efforts. I love the amplitube product, but customer interactions are much more than just the product itself and hopefully you guys smarten up in the marketing/pricing/customer experience department. People have been mentioning the Positive Grid fiasco, that was a clear opportunity for your team to learn from competitors mistakes. So I get in on that only to find out that I wasted my time doing so because you now introduce an AT4/Mesa pack that's cheaper! I missed out on the Mesa pack pre-order, my fault, but I figured no way would I miss out on the AT4 pre-order. Unclear expectations are a nightmare for customers and suppliers alike.Īnd the pricing strategy, yeah that is annoying. Just a marketing fix you might want to look at. That said, there is a lack of clarity around what you get, and what you don't, when you upgrade. I have used amplitube for a couple of years, I like the product a lot, and think the upgrade to 4 makes a good product much great! I had purchased all the bundles available for 3, so seem to have pretty much all of that plus the new stuff.
